隨想:

Type-1 relay is an in-band and half-duplex relay which means the access link and backhaul link  operates  in  the  same  band  and  the  transmission  on  access link and backhaul link are time multiplexed.

LTE-Advanced  should  support peak data rate of 1Gbps in downlink and 500Mbps in uplink for low mobility.

Type-1 relay has its own cell id to control the cells of its own and is transparent to UE

the link between relays and relay attached UEs is termed as access link; the link between donor eNB  and  relays  is  termed  as  backhaul  link;  while  the  link between donor eNB and eNB-attached UEs is termed as direct link.

the HARQ of backhaul link will use the  same  operation  point  as  for  access  link  but  use  different

HARQ RTT which is 10 ms.

這一篇其實概念很簡單,即是探討當relay數目變多以及backhaul subframe之間互相的影響導致throughput的變化。其中要注意的是其所有的relay的backhaul subframe都是在相同的time solt上也就是其假設沒有relay間的干擾。值得一提的是有提出一個很有趣的東西即是backhaul link的瓶頸,因為此篇是探討上傳部份,所以backhaul的throughput是跟UE能上傳到relay的量有關,所以subframe愈多不一定愈好。
